Administrative Director - Candidate will oversee all administrative functions of the agency. Core competencies include excellent organizational skills and the ability to establish common practices and apply standard procedures for all office maintenance items. Individual must have the ability to identify and forecast the needs of the agency and take appropriate measures to meet those needs. Excellent interpersonal skills, self-direction and the ability to work proactively with staff. Bachelor’s degree preferred with 4 years experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, have a basic knowledge of Accounting and Quickbooks software and have knowledge or experience in Human Resource management. Master’s level Full-Time Child & Family Specialist – Master’s degree in social services, education, humanities or related field, MSSW, M.Ed., M.Div., or Bachelor’s degree with significant experience. Must possess working understanding of child development and the impact of grief, loss, attachment and trauma issues. Excellent interpersonal, writing and organizational skills. Position requires experience in training facilitation and family counseling. Strengths in teaching, training and helping others learn. Excellent networking skills and knowledge of the local foster care and adoption community. Position is responsible for providing a range of permanency support services. Training & Curriculum Development Manager - Newly created position that will provide the opportunity to build a training and curriculum development program from the ground up that will influence the world of child welfare and adoption. Candidate will manage research and development of new curriculum and training activities, as well as serving as a trainer for all program training activities. This position will allow candidate to create and provide unique educational and learning opportunities to children, families, adoption & child welfare professionals, and many others. MSW or equivalent preferred with a minimum of three years experience in the field of foster care and/or adoption. Must be able to travel and work some evenings. Experience conducting and implementing trainings in a variety of settings and curriculum development is necessary. This position is located in Maryville, Tennessee. Communications and Grant Development Manager – Newly created position that will provide an exciting opportunity to create and lead a grant development program from the ground up that will impact the world of child welfare. Harmony Adoptions is looking for a candidate that will lead state/national outreach and grant development for the agency. Candidate will also be responsible for management of all agency outreach that support communication efforts for Harmony Adoption’s programs on a state and national level. A Master’s degree is preferred with experience in working for not-for-profit agencies and a minimum of 2-3 years of grant development and writing experience. Excellent communication skills, capacity to disseminate information effectively, strong writing proficiency, and strong computer skills and familiarity with technology are required. Problem solving and creative thinking is necessary. This position is located in Maryville, Tennessee.
